Wiring makes me shutter, some bad experiences at my old job trying to sort out a loader that had an electrical fire.
Would likely keep manual purely for the face my dad could drive it, his left knee prevents clutch use.
It was a beautiful on the car comment because it fits but would be terrible on a new Adventdor if you see what I'm saying.

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen a 900 Turbo sedan. They're all coupes here. Sleeper!

Don't worry about the wiring; Saabs generally don't have a problem with 'em. Vacuum lines, that's a whole diferent story. The APC and ECU are easy-swap boxes - APC on the shotgun driver side by the air cleaner, ECU passenger footwell. Swap 'em both out for ones from a 1990 or 1991, problem solved.
I hear you on the clutch deal. Saab's autos were decent (though the manual really livens 'em up and gets much better MPGs)
And again. Don't call 'em ugly or I will find you. I will find you and give you the most disappointed glare
